Fall’s shaping up to be a busy one! Here’s a quick rundown of the releases and events I’ve got lined up starting tomorrow August 29th with Tucson Comic Con!

Kicking things off this Labor Day Weekend at Tucson Comic Con, I’ll be there for the full event August 29th-31st with all my books – including my latest children’s release, Night of the GabaGhoul: An Italian-American Holiday Tale. Come say hi, grab a copy, and maybe hear a spooky story or two.

Next up, I’ll be at the Los Angeles Italian Festival on October 4th, followed by a full weekend at the Scottsdale Italian Festival on October 25th–26th. Expect books, laughs, food stains on my shirt and maybe a few baccala jokes.

And here’s something special: as we gear up for the release of our newest children’s book, Dana and the Lost Lizard, we’re honored to be part of the Phoenix Zoo’s Comic Conservation Event. This celebration marks the opening of the Art on the Wild Side exhibit, where a piece created by Mick Lambrou, specifically for the zoo, will be on display alongside work from some of the comic world’s most iconic names. All proceeds go toward the zoo’s conservation efforts.

There are some major guests lined up… they haven’t announced them all yet, but let’s just say—I’ve got the inside scoop.

And speaking of Dana and the Lost Lizard…

We’re thrilled to announce the book is expected to drop the first week of October! Co-written by me and the legendary Gloria Cavalera, with vibrant illustrations by Mick Lambrou, this story is packed with heart, humor, and a whole lot of lizard mischief.

Here is a little about the book:

Meet Dana, your average kid with one not-so-average sidekick: Moose, his mischievous pet iguana. Moose isn’t the type to chill in his tank—he’s a full-blown escape artist. One minute he’s climbing trees, the next he’s cheering at monster truck rallies. You never know where he’ll pop up next.

Join Dana on wild adventures as he tracks down his runaway reptile and discovers the magic of friendship, curiosity, and chaos. It’s a laugh-out-loud, tail-wagging, tree-scaling journey that’ll keep readers guessing and grinning.Moose is loose—and he’s not slowing down.

We’ve got plenty more exciting updates on the way – including a very cool local event brewing for November 8th. Stay tuned… things are about to get wild (and maybe a little lizard-y).

I’ve got a wild lineup of projects brewing for 2026, and things are about to get gloriously weird.

First up, I’m teaming with Mick Lambrou on two new creations:

• A festive follow-up to our beloved GabaGhoul saga—Feast of the GabaGhoul, a Christmas book that’s equal parts spooky and ridiculous.

• Our first comic book collaboration: a one-shot called Mullet the Barbarian. It’s loud, hairy, and heroic—and if all goes well, we’re hoping to spin it into a full series.

On top of that, I finally wrapped up a one-shot comic I’ve been chipping away at for years with my buddy Jim Hanna. It’s called Famous Mustaches of Filmland, and it’s a full-blown tribute to the absurdity of MAD Magazine. It’s dumb and awesome in all the right ways.

And there’s more—a new band is in the works. But trust me, it’s not what anyone’s expecting. If all goes to plan, I’ll be hitting the studio this winter, and I couldn’t be more pumped.
